writing and reading for the hell of it
Heh... so what do you think he would think of Segorian et al now? :-).As you know from painful experience, I was taught ( long before it became as fashionable as it is now) to pretend as much as possible that dialogie tags didn't exist. OK. Slight exageration for effect :-P. But I hope I listen as well... Was it _too_ painful?I also still have to differ a little from Nathan's view. The mindless repetition of ' said's' drives me mad as a reader and would have gotten me a rap over the knuckles from my lecturers... but so would an excess of ' he shouted, she screamed, they gibbered' as well. The Idiot
hee hee. i don't even see the he said she said when i read, other than to tell me who said it. i tend to agree with nathan, so shoot me...
Never no-how. Ye be stuck wi' me now, lassie! .I think we met somewhere in the middle this time. Or even rather more to your side of the bridge.... :-P.The Idiot
